Today’s organizations so greatly rely on digital assets. Research shows that online security attacks are at an all time high, so protecting these assets is of the utmost importance. It demands the proper network security that can only be provided by a select few companies. Major security breaches, system deployment, identity theft, enforcement of policies, compliance to policies, historical recording, monitoring traffic, and a variety of other situations can be controlled by incorporating network monitoring and management into an organization. It aids in the identification of issues that arise, the timely resolutions of them, and the prevention of future problems that are largely due to unsecured networks.
Many organizations are at risk of data leakage which results in the loss of data, intellectual property, and customers, and the violation of privacy and other government policies and regulations. Incorporating a comprehensive system of network forensics, including scalable deep packet capture and stream-to-storage appliances, provides the ability to capture and analyze everything that hits a network without disrupting the production network. The most advanced preventative measures are through accountability and deterrence, and deep network analysis. For organizations that are at risk, need to do behavioral analysis, gather intelligence, or reconstruct sessions, this is crucial.
